The Itoozhi house of Ayurveda’s mission has always been to offer treatments and techniques to increase the holistic quality of life. And our Vision has been no different. Inspired and rejuvenated by the incantation from The Brhadaranyaka Upanishad, Itoozhi Ayurveda’s Vision for the planet is ‘Vision.’ According to the last census, there are over 12 million people affected with some form of visual impairment or affliction in India, and sadly, over 25 percent of the total population of visually challenged people in the whole world are found in India.
Itoozhi Ayurveda’s vision is to have Vision for All, to abolish afflictions that affect vision of any kind from the community, resulting in a global kinship that lives longer and sustain oneself with zero level of physical dependence on others.
It is also in this regard that we have chosen Nethra Chikithsa ( Traditional Eye Treatment and care) as one of our core disciplines of healing and treatment – a fact that has been suitably emphasized in our daily activities in community health care.
A Vision that we hope to fulfil utilising the strength of the traditional Ayurvedic treatments and techniques, that emphasises holistic well-being rather than local healing.
