The Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturers Organisation of India held its Kannur-Kasargod District committee meeting at Kannur on 20-11-12. The Organisation, created primarily to protect the interests and propagate best trade practices in the production and distribution of Ayurveda medicines is a prime force in ensuring the indigenous nature of the traditional medicine systems is preserved, while embracing modern methods in expanding the domains.
