Itoozhi Ayurveda was honored with the Ayurveda Hospital Management Association ( AHMA ) award for 2012, in recognition of its quality services in Ayurvedic health care, which in turn recognizes the significant commitment by the Itoozhi team of Ayurveda doctors, administration and staff in providing high-quality health care as well as meeting and exceeding the standards set by the State.
The AHMA, set up as a non-profit professional trade association brings together ayurvedic hospitals, practitioners, students, and supporters of Ayurveda with a clear mission to foster community, preserve and promote Ayurveda into an accessible, viable health care option for all.
The AHMA award for 2012 was handed over to Dr. I Unnikrishnan Namboothiri by Sri P. K. Kunhalikutty, Hon’ble Minister of Industries; IT at the 3rd State level Association conclave held at Kottakkal. Dr. I Unnikrishnan Namboothiri of Itoozhi Ayurveda was also elected as the Secretary for the next term of activities of the Ayurveda Hospital Management Association.
